2003 Mitsubishi Galant
The 2003 Mitsubishi Galant is available in six trim levels, with two engine offerings.
The lower three trims get the 140 horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine whereas
the three top trims get the 3.0-liter V6. Both engines are coupled to a four-speed
automatic transmission. Front discs and rear drum brakes are used by 4-cylinder
trims whereas the V6 engines get the four-wheel disc brakes.
Each trim offers a different level of opulence, the base trim providing the most
basic equipments and the highest trim level coming with the more luxurious and
expensive features.
The base DE trim has air conditioning, power windows and door locks, a 140-watt,
four-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo, and 15-inch tires as standard equipments.
The next trim, ES, comes with adds premium cloth upholstery, titanium- or bronze-look
interior accents, integrated fog lamps, remote keyless entry, cruise control,
partial folding rear seat trunk pass-through, a cargo net, rear-window antenna,
and power side mirrors.
2003 brings great option packages for the ES starting with the Sun and Sound
Package which offers a great combination of a power sunroof with alloy wheels
and the seven-speaker Mitsubishi/Infinity stereo, followed by the All-Weather
Package which adds traction control, heated mirrors and ABS.
Dual front side-impact airbags, antilock brakes (ABS), a nice leather-wrapped
steering wheel, alloy wheels, a one-touch power glass sunroof, and a 210-watt
Mitsubishi/Infinity CD stereo with seven speakers are standard features on the
LS. The V6 LS adds heated mirrors and traction control. But both LS versions are
given an option package which lets it have leather seating surfaces, leather-covered
shifter, and an eight-way power driver's seat with manually adjustable headrest
and lumbar support.
The GTZ showcases a leather interior and is tuned to perform like a sports sedan.
Even receiving half-inch ground effects on its sport suspension. Also standard
on this trim is the traction control.
